Emily Randall is an American artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has exhibited with institutions such as the Royal Scottish Academy, the Louisiana State Museum and the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and independent spaces such as Sett Studios, Embassy and Mote 102.

In addition to her day job as an Exhibition Coordinator at a major gallery in Edinburgh, she takes on freelance projects in design, illustration and curation.

Emily’s practice explores themes of memory, heredity and personal mythology. It often engages with her Louisiana roots and plays on personal and global anxieties. Her work tends to fall in the spaces between realism, surrealism and symbolism and varies in execution. She is continuously experimenting with new techniques and she often incorporates recycled and discarded materials into her work.
